My favorite thing to do other than running is to eat out.
I love the whole experience of sitting down in a nice place and having a glass of wine while waiting for for my food. If it’s in an unusual place, or a place with a view I might forgo my taste buds for atmosphere; but what it really comes down to is flavor. I could eat on a stool in the back of a kitchen if the food is good.
There is an Indian restaurant on Lexington Avenue in New York City called Kailash Parbat where you can get a whole plate of chaat samples. The chaat plate comes with little rows with tiny eatable taco like cups or chips, overflowing with chickpeas, sauces and chutneys. Each one is a little different from the other. One of the rows is covered with rice krispies, it surprised me at first but after my first bite I was convinced. It works, the crunchy mixes extremely well with the spicy and moist sauces and chutneys.
They burst with so much flavor that it is hard to hold down a conversation. It´s heaven.
